The recent heavy rains in the headwaters of the Maroochy River have delivered muddy waters in the lower reaches here at On The River Apartments
Red Bream 0r Mangrove Jacks are hunting fish and love the protection of jettys and rocks. Several nice specimens have been landed on the jetty here in front of the apartments on live herring. These fish are among the most powerful fish and great sport to catch. They are also and excellent table fisk.
So…. If you can get away for a few days , now is a good time to try your luck on these marine delicacies.
