Every Christmas we see families booking in to enjoy the very special ambience of On The River. We are located right on the bank of the Maroochy River which allows for all sorts of water sports. You can tie up your tinny to the pontoon and jetty or hire one of our kayaks and go paddling to enjoy nature at its best. Good old fashioned family fun needn’t cost you a cent. Many families enjoy exploring the sand banks at low tide opposite the apartments. There is a long stretch of sand ideal for family games of cricket, football or soccer. The kids also enjoy chasing madly after soldier crabs as thousands of these colourful little fellows enjoy their daily march.
